Facebook is more than just a place for friends and family to connect and interact, this was realised by the Facebook Pages, or Public Profiles. These are the Pages that you see in their newsfeed to ‘Become a Fan’. There are many benefits to using a Facebook Page over your facebook Personal Profile. a number of key benefits:

• No need to approve friend (fan) requests
• Greater interaction between you and your fans
• Fans can post to the wall, upload pictures and videos
• Polls and discussions can be created
• Detailed analytics on activity for your Page
• Option to further promote Page using Facebook Ads

You can get to the Pages control panel by searching for Pages in facebook search box, then go to applications and select Pages. The page creation process often overwhelms some people with the amount of options available. We are of course available to setup a Page for you at a minimal cost.

Some tips for using Pages:

• When you have created your page, post to it by clicking on the Page name
• Doing a search on facebook will take you to your Page
• When your page is ready, use the Suggest to Friends link below the profile picture, select everyone in your friend list.
• Further promote your page using finely targetting paid advertisng with Facebook Ads.
• If you have a Twitter account, you can link your Page posts to your tweets
